<p>For years, outsiders have taken our resources, refused to pay their fair share, and left Alaskans paying the price through struggling schools, a PFD in doubt, rising crime, higher grocery and fuel costs, and too many young people leaving. This decline is not normal, and I’m not willing to accept it.</p>
