Invest in Alaska

Alaska cannot keep waiting while things fall apart. We need to fix what we have, protect what matters, and plan beyond the next election cycle.

Fix what’s broken

As Governor, I will:

• Begin to address our billions in deferred maintenance through a General Obligation Bond

• Ensure regular funding of maintenance for our University, our schools, and our roads and public buildings

• Establish an authority to ensure the Alaska Marine Highway meets its repair and replacement needs and is led by the communities it serves

• Establish a capital projects fund to ensure we address our infrastructure needs as they arise

Fixing infrastructure before it completely fails saves money over time and keeps communities safer, more reliable, and more connected.

Stabilize the PFD and the Permanent Fund

As Governor, I will:

• Protect the Permanent Fund as Alaska’s financial backbone

• Create a stable, realistic dividend

• Tie the dividend more directly to the Fund’s recent performance

• Support a sustainable payout

• End the yearly fight by creating a formula that works

Alaskans deserve a dividend system that is honest, sustainable, and predictable instead of constant political fights and uncertainty.
