Tom Begich for Governor Campaign Raises Over $310,000 From Nearly 600 Contributors by End of 2025

ANCHORAGE — The Tom Begich for Governor campaign announced today that it raised more than $310,000 from nearly 600 contributors by the end of 2025, marking a strong early fundraising showing heading into the 2026 election year.

Early fundraising allows campaigns to build the basic infrastructure needed to run statewide, including staffing, voter outreach, and communications. Funds raised early can be used over a longer period of time, supporting early organizing and planning efforts. The number of contributors reflects broad participation in the campaign. Nearly 600 individuals chose to contribute before the start of the main election year, demonstrating early engagement from supporters across the state.

“I’m grateful to the Alaskans who have supported this campaign from the beginning,” said Begich. “This early support allows us to start 2026 focused on meeting voters, listening, and building a campaign that reflects Alaska’s priorities.”

The campaign noted that contributions came from a wide range of supporters, with 93 percent of donations coming from Alaska. As the campaign enters the new year, Begich remains focused on issues including affordability, education, and building a more reliable and self-reliant economy for Alaska.
